<p>The present invention discloses a method and device for implementing device alarming. The method includes: a device receives a device management instruction sent by a device management server, wherein the device management instruction is used to instruct the device to lock itself and enable the device's alarm function after the device is locked; responding to the device management instruction, the device locks itself and provides a lock alarm after the device is locked. Via the present invention, the device is able to provide an alarm after the device is locked, wherein the locking includes partial locking and full locking, and the alarm does not need to be triggered by a user. The present invention solves the problems that extra operations are needed for the user to enable the device to provide an alarm prompt in the case of partial locking and the picker is unable to be informed of returning the device in the case of full locking, thus effectively improving the probability of returning the device.</p> |
