<p>The present invention discloses a method for implementing a network and card locking function of a terminal. The method includes: an encryption chip is set on a main board of the terminal; after the terminal is powered on, the encryption chip reads Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card information, and judges whether the read SIM card information is identical with its stored SIM card information that is specified by an operator; when it is determined that the read SIM card information differs from the stored SIM card information, the network and card locking protection function of the terminal is started. The present invention also discloses a terminal for implementing a network and card locking function. The present invention can solve the problem that a network and card locking function of a terminal has poor security because it is based on software, and can improve the security of the network and card locking function of the terminal.</p> |
