METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR IMPLEMENTING HOT-PLUG OF SMART CARD

A method and a terminal for implementing hot-plug of a smart card are disclosed by the present invention, said method involves the following steps: during the process of playing a mobile multimedia, a descrambling base sends a request information of obtaining a program key to a smart card driving module, and after the smart card driving module receives the request information, it judges that the smart card is in a plug-in or a plug-out state. (A)When the smart card is in the plug-in state, the smart card driving module transmits the request information to the smart card, (B) receives a response information returned from the smart card, (C) transmits the response information to the descrambling base, (D) simultaneously transmits the response information to a virtual smart card module in which the response information is stored; when the smart card is in the plug-out state, the smart card driving module transmits the request information to the virtual smart card module, and the virtual smart card module returns the stored response information to the smart card driving module, and then the smart card driving module transmits the response information to the descrambling base. In the present invention there is no need to restart the terminal to watch programs after the user plugs in the smart card again.
