METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR USER EQUIPMENT ACCESS AUTHENTICATION

A method, an apparatus and a system for User Equipment (UE) access authentication are disclosed in present invention. In said method, UE receives a message from Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) or Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WIMAX) access network, wherein the message carries information of the type of network currently accessible to WLAN or WIMAX access network. The UE chooses the network of the type indicated by the information and sends identity information corresponding to the network to WLAN or WIMAX access network for access authentication. With technical solution proposed in the present invention, unnecessary attempts of sending identity information during the user accessing wireless core network through WLAN or WIMAX access network are avoided, further resource consumption brought by the attempts can be reduced and user experience can be improved.
