ROAMING SYSTEM, HLR, AND PACKET COMMUNICATION RESTRICTING METHOD

Disclosed is a method which enables precise restricting of communication even with respect to a mobile device (subscriber) which has roamed outside the communication provider network to which the subscriber information of the mobile device had been registered and into a different network. In a roaming system which includes an HLR (110) and GGSN (120) of a first communication provider communication network (100) and an SGSN (220) of a second communication provider communication network (200), the SGSN (220) receives a packet transmission request from a mobile device (210) and transmits the request to the GGSN (120), then the GGSN (120), having received the forwarded request, sends a query concerning the subscriber information of the mobile device (210) to the HLR (110). The HLR (110) identifies whether the packet transmission request is classified as being restricted and returns an identification result to the GGSN (120) when the packet transmission request is restricted. The GGSN (120) forwards a response corresponding to the identification result to the SGSN (220), and the SGSN (220), having received the forwarded response, forwards the response corresponding to the identification result to the mobile device (210).
