A method for assigning authentication of a High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) network is disclosed in the present invention. The method involves a step 1 that authentication is assigned by the HSUPA dispatcher based on a service requirement of a user terminal to the user terminal, and a step 2 that the authentication is maintained by the user terminal until the service requirement of the user terminal changes, and return to the step 1. And the corresponding device for assigning authentication of the HSUPA network is also provided in present invention. Application of the method and device of the present invention can avoid delay assignment of the authentication in the HSUPA network in presence of a burst service, thus avoiding delay variation of the user terminal efficiently. |
