A heat exchanger having improved efficiency, utilizing multiple-conduit pipes. A heat exchanger (1) for performing heat exchange between a first fluid (11) flowing within inner pipes (41) and a second fluid (21) flowing within outer pipes (42). The heat exchanger (1) is provided with: a holding body (6) for holding heat transfer pipes (4); a first inlet section (12) into which the inner pipes (41) of the heat transfer pipes (4) are extended from the outer pipes (42) which causes the first fluid (11) to enter from the ends of the extended inner pipes (41); a second inlet section (22) which causes the second fluid (21) to enter between the outer pipes (42) and the inner pipes (41) of the heat transfer pipes (4) from the outer peripheries of the extended portions of the inner pipes (41); and a third inlet section (32) which is provided so as to be isolated from the second inlet section (22) and causes a third fluid (31) to pass through the gaps (5) between the outer peripheries of the heat transfer pipes (4).
