Copy-protected chip cards and method related to their production

The smart card (CC) comprises a data memory (DS) for storing data, where a data is protected in a subarea (SB) of the data memory by a change by a user or offender outside a group. An individual property (HW-ID) for smart card and a digital signature (D-SIG) of the individual property, are stored in an optional protected subarea of the data memory. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a smart card (2) a method for producing a device for copy protection.
