PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a power storage device is provided to safely manufacture an electrode of a power storage device even when an alkali metal is used in forming the electrode. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a power storage device comprises the steps of: providing a current collector(201); forming a layer(202) capable of inserting and extracting alkali metal ion on a surface of the current collector; forming an alkali metal film(203) on a surface of the layer capable of inserting and extracting alkali metal ion under reduced pressure; and impregnating the layer capable of inserting and extracting alkali metal ion with an alkali metal ion while ionizing the alkali metal film.
