METHOD FOR PREPARING POLYISOCYANURATE FOAM BY USING LIQUID NUCLEATING AGENT AND POLYISOCYANURATE FOAM PREPARED BY THE SAME

A method for preparing a polyisocyanurate foam is provided. According to the method, a polyisocyanurate foam is prepared by polymerizing a polyol compound with an isocyanate compound. A liquid silane compound is used as a nucleating agent for foam formation in the polymerization. Further provided is a polyisocyanurate foam prepared by the method. The polyisocyanurate foam has foamed cells whose size is relatively small compared to the size of foamed cells of conventional polyisocyanurate foams. In addition, the polyisocyanurate foam has excellent thermal and mechanical properties.
