The invention relates to a stator in an electric motor having a plurality of individual stator elements that form support teeth and are arranged around the periphery of said stator. Each support tooth is provided with a wound coil and the coils on the support teeth are connected together electrically. The support teeth are arranged at an angle in relation to the longitudinal axis of the stator so that the longitudinal axis of the support teeth forms an angle with the longitudinal axis of the stator.
