<p>Disclosed is a compact, economical processing device for organic sludge, which can continuously incinerate organic sludge. The disclosed device is provided with a dehydrator (10), which continuously turns organic sludge into dried sludge that can self-combust, a combustion device (20), which continuously incinerates said dried sludge, and a heat exchanger (30), which obtains vapor using the heat of incineration, said vapor being the heat source for the dehydrator (10). The dehydrator (10) applies organic sludge to the surface of two rotating heating drums that are heated by means of vapor to produce dried sludge; the combustion device (20) has a concentric cylindrical middle wall (24) at the top portion of a furnace body with a vertical cylindrical outer wall (21), and is provided therebeneath with a screw conveyor (22) that transports dried sludge upwards in succession. Also, helically spiraling combustion air is sent around the periphery of the middle wall (24), causing the dried sludge at the upper end of the screw conveyor (22) to combust, and the combustion gas therefrom is introduced to the heat exchanger (30), which is provided directly above.</p> |
