A method for simply inputting, searching and studying the Chinese characters. The method comprises, splitting the characters to be inputted into several radicals and elements of the commonly-used characters, during splitting the said radicals or elements, using 0 in the keyboard to denote the parts whose pronunciation is unknown or whether which can be the member of a character is unknown and completing the input, carrier returning after splitting and inputting in the input box in this way, displaying the characters corresponding to the inputted radicals or elements or the most relevant characters to be selected in the screen to be selected by the user using the mouse, completing the input of the character in the input box,the user pointing the seventeen class box to be selected according to the need, querying the particular information of the corresponding class.
