The invention relates to a method and to a device for producing a gas containing hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO) as a starting material for a chemical use, e.g., in synthesis processes based on export gas from a metallurgical process. A part of the export gas is subjected to a CO conversion by adding steam, wherein raw synthesis gas having a defined ratio of H2 to CO is formed. In at least one steam generator, the steam required for the CO conversion can be produced at least partially in the method itself. |
