Disclosed is a simple network management protocol (SNMP) control system (100) in which an agent device (14) and a plurality of manager devices (12) are connected. Each of the plurality of manager devices (12) notifies the control number of a TRAP message held in the device itself to the agent device (14). The agent device (14) matches the control number notified by each of the plurality of manager devices (12) and the control number of the TRAP message sent for each manager device (12), and detects and resends a discarded TRAP message corresponding to the matching result.
