PURPOSE: An electric heating device, capable of obtain of necessary pretension using a plastic spring element is provided to generate the enough electrical contact between a PTC element and a metal sheet strip. CONSTITUTION: An electric heating device comprises a housing. A PTC heating element and a radiator element(14) are supported with a pretension in the housing. The housing comprises lower part and top housing components. The lower housing component comprises one or more supporting elements(46) protruded from the floor. The top housing component comprises an element(68) corresponding to the supporting elements.
