The invention relates to a method and an apparatus (1) that allow technical components having an initially unknown interface to be integrated into a running system. The disclosed method and the disclosed apparatus thus allow a running system to be dynamically reconfigured in respect of interacting components. According to the invention, this is done by executing test cases. The disclosed method and the disclosed apparatus (1) can be used in numerous applications, especially when dynamically connecting initially unknown devices.
