METHOD, VIDEO ACCESS UNIT AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING LOAD BALANCE FOR MEDIA TRANSCODING NETWORK

Disclosed are a method, video access unit (VAU) and system for implementing the load balance for a media transcoding network, which are applied in the media transcoding network including a master VAU and at least one slave VAU and allow the master VAU to receive the ordering requests; the master VAU selects a slave VAU with the minimum load to provide a service. The master VAU selects, according to the load, a device for providing a service, which avoids the media stream from flowing out intensively from one VAU and the network congestion, and ensures the load balance of the VAU network. The operation of the whole network will not be influenced when a certain slave VAU fails, thereby the stability of the whole network is ensured.
