<p>The embodiments of the invention relate to a server discovery method, system, and device. The server discovery method includes: receiving a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) message including a server option, and the server option carrying an identification of an operator which the server belongs to; returning a DHCP response message corresponding to the server option, the server option carrying an identification of an operator which the server belongs to, the DHCP response message including the domain name or the IP address of a server in a specified domain, the server is obtained from the identification of the operator. With the embodiments of the invention, the domain name or the IP address of a server in a specified domain can be obtained by carrying an identification of an operator to which the server belongs in the server option of a DHCP message, thus any server in any specified domain can be found.</p> |
