<p>An electronic key (10) comprises a housing (11), on the inside (14) of which in addition to elements of the remote control (42) also a battery (40) operating the same is provided. An emergency key (30) ensures a mechanical actuation in an emergency. Between the emergency key (30) and the housing (11) a locking device (46) is disposed, which holds the emergency key (30) in the position thereof during non-use. A detachable cover (36) closes the housing (11) on an opening (15). The housing inside (14) is accessible when the cover (36) is removed. In order to reliably secure the position of the cover (36) on the housing (11) and for a deliberately simple detachment of the cover (36), it is proposed to configure the cover (36) together with the emergency key (30) as a preassembled unit (20) with respect to the housing (11). In the installation position (20.1), the unit (20) closes the housing opening (15) and only releases the same in the removal position (20.3) thereof. The locking device (46) for the emergency key (30) secures the installation position (20.1) of the entire unit (20) in the housing (11). The cover (36) belonging to the unit (20) is fixed in the housing opening (15) by the same locking device (46).</p> |
