METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RESOURCE RESERVATION AND INDEX MAPPING OF DYNAMIC PHYSICAL UPLINK CONTROL CHANNEL

The present invention discloses a method for resource reservation and index mapping of a dynamic Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH), which includes: dividing dynamic PUCCH resources needed by each downlink component carrier into multiple sub blocks; configuring the amount of the dynamic PUCCH resources, which correspond to the first sub block of each downlink component carrier, greater than or equal to the amount of dynamic PUCCH resources needed by terminals of Long Term Evolution Release-8 (LTE Rel-8), therefore allocating the dynamic PUCCH resources needed by terminals of LTE Rel-8 to the first sub block of each downlink component carrier; arraying the said sub blocks in terms of the indexes of the downlink component carriers in an interleaving and mapping manner; on the basis of the above configurations, calculating the dynamic PUCCH resource index corresponding to the (i+1)th downlink component carrier, according to the index of the first Control Channel Element (CCE) of the physical downlink control channel corresponding to the (i+1)th downlink component carrier. The present invention also discloses an apparatus for resource reservation and index mapping of the dynamic PUCCH.
