<p>The timepiece has escapement hour racks (11) connected to escapement quarter-hour racks (10) by a drive connection. The quarter-hour racks and escapement minute racks (9) are connected by the connection. The connection has banking pins and cams to selectively engaging ratchets (15, 17) with pawl teeth. An end of a motor spring is secured to activating pawl teeth (13a) for hour chime and activating pawl teeth (13b) for quarter-hour and minute chime. Pawl teeth (10f) are integrated to the hour racks for engaging with a chime lift (26) to chime the quarter-hours. The lift activates a hammer (29).</p> |
