PURPOSE: An image processing method and an image display device applying the same for automatically partitioning a partial image including an object in the image are provided to supply a convenient GUI(Graphic User Interface) to a user by automatically displaying a part of the image. CONSTITUTION: A memory(40) stores the image data and an object recognition program for recognizing the object of an image. A display unit(30) displays image data. A controller(60) recognizes the object of the image by using the object recognition program. The partial image is generated around object. The partial image is indicated automatically in the display unit.
