PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a liquid display having the same are provided to reduce the whole width of a metal PCB of multi-stage structure, thereby preventing the problem such as rise of manufacturing cost and heat dissipation degradation according to a metal PCB of a general multi-stage structure. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of light emitting diode is drive to at least two or more channels. A metal PCB(160) of mulit-layer structure has a plurality of light emitting diode mounted. A plurality of pad unit distinguishes it per a plurality of channels by forming on the metal PCB. The plurality of pad unit has different separation interval from upper/lower side end of the metal PCB per the plurality of channels. |
