PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to enable compact and stable combining of components by combining a first cover case with a can through crimping, tight fitting, or a coupling method by protrusions or grooves. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly(111), a bottom plate(113) accommodating the electrode assembly, a side wall(114) which is extended from the bottom plate to a first end and has a first accommodation unit with a first opening; a can(112) which is extended from the first end to the second end and has a second accommodation unit with a second opening; and a cap assembly which has a cap plate and seals the first opening of the first accommodation unit. |
