PURPOSE: A facility management device and a facility managing method thereof are provided to reduce diagnosis time and check causes in a maintenance process. CONSTITUTION: A management point data obtaining unit(1) obtains management point data for controlling and monitoring the operation of a facility with a preset cycle. A management point data monitoring unit(3) monitors the change of a preset monitoring period by comparing the prior value with a current value of the management point data. If the management point data is not changed in a monitoring period, a monitoring result notification unit(4) informs intent.
