A PROCESS OF AN IMPROVED SOIL FERTILIZER WHICH USE FERRONICKEL SLAG

PURPOSE: A process for preparing a soil-improving fertilizer using ferronickel slag is provided to lower a melting point of the slag and to increase the elution of soluble silicic acid, citric acid magnesia, and alkali powder by adding slaked lime, unslaked lime or limestone as a modifier. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing a soil-improving fertilizer using ferronickel slag comprises the steps of: adding a mixture of one or two or more selected from calcium hydroxide, quicklime and limestone to ferronickel slag, and heating and cooling them; and fitting the reformed slag to a standard. The modifier is simplified by adding the ferronickel slag to the molten ferronickel slag discharged from an electric furnace.
