PURPOSE: A method for operating a plurality of authenticating method type OTP(One Time Password), which is connected with a user medium, a system, a portable terminal and a recording medium for the same are provided to firstly authenticate a mobile phone as a valid OTP medium through OTP medium authentication information and secondly authenticates the mobile phone as the valid OTP medium through received OTP. CONSTITUTION: A server firstly authenticates a mobile phone as an OTP medium generating N digits of an OTP(445). The server secondly authenticates the mobile phone as the OTP medium(465). When authenticating the mobile phone as the OTP medium firstly and a secondly, the server transmits OTP generation information related to a user medium from a storing medium to the mobile phone(470). The mobile phone receives the OTP generation information. The mobile phone generates N digits of OTP(475).
