PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for offering information of recorded material in an image display device are provided to smoothly reproduce the recorded material by recognizing a state about the recorded material stored in the image display device. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(100) receives a broadcast data inputted from the outside. A storage(140) stores broadcast data. A controller(160) confirms the video recording error of broadcast data. The error generation section is indicated in the offer of the recorded material information. The display unit indicates the recorded material information. The storage stores the information about the error generation section. |
