PURPOSE: Functional Opuntia humifusa soap and a preparation method thereof are provided to ensure antibacterial activity for various skin-related microorganism and cleansing effect on accumulated waste products on the skin. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing functional Opuntia humifusa soap comprises the steps of: preparing a vegetable soap base; boiling 100g Opuntia humifusa in 1.5L distilled water to prepare Opuntia humifusa extract with 47 brix solid content and chromaticity of 73.12 L value(lightness), -0.34 a value(redness), and 33.85 b value (yellowness); adding Opuntia humifusa extract, Houttuniae Herva, Tuckahoe, the bark of willow, and Polygonatum stenophyllum MAX to 1,000 ml distilled water to prepare herbal medicine extract; adding Opuntia humifusa extract to a soap base; and adding the herbal medicine extract to the soap base; and molding it. |
