FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal working, particularly to hand-held shears for cutting rolled stock and bars. Shears comprise plates wherein eccentric axles are fitted. Said plates feature spatially extended shape with trough shape on control levers side and have extending flanges rigidly interjointed to form box-like part. Dividing jaws are arranged on one end of aforesaid levers. Box-like part accommodates wedge slide arranged on the axis of shears with its front pivoted to swinging levers. Wedge slide rear is pivoted, via pressure inserts, with control levers whereto cutting force is applied. ^ EFFECT: easier cutting of high-strength material. ^ 3 cl, 7 dwg |
