FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: commercial kind of soft wheat is crossed with donor line, which contains gene Lr. As resistance donor, hybrid line is used, which contains at least 6 fragments of chromosomes T. timopheevii in genome, for which molecular genetic analysis has been previously carried out, chromosome localisation of resistance genes has been established, and DNA-markers for stability genes have been defined. Then hybrids of the first generation (F1) are backcrossed twice to initial kind, posterity BC2F1 is tested with DNA-markers to resistance gene Lr, and lines that carry DNA-markers are selected. Selected lines are backcrossed for the third time, posterity is self-fertilised, and lines that carry DNA markers to resistance gene Lr in homozygotic condition are selected in posterity BC3F2. At the final stage posterity BC3F3 is tested under field conditions. ^ EFFECT: method makes it possible to select plants resistant to brown leaf rust at the first stages of lines development without conducting of field tests for resistance and reduces time for development of resistant lines of soft wheat. ^ 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex |
