PURPOSE: A microporous polyethylene film is provided to secure reliability and effectiveness of a battery by ensuring high-temperature stability and excellent transparency. CONSTITUTION: A microporous polyethylene film comprises inorganic particles and a heat-resistant resin with 170°C - 500°C of a melting temperature or glass transition temperature, at one or more sides of the surface of the microporous polyethylene film. The permeability (Gurley) of a whole composite film including the coating layer is 300 sec or less. A shrinkage ratio at 150 °C for 1 hour is 0 ~ 3 % in longitudinal and traverse directions. A maximum shrinkage ratio of thermomechanical analysis is 3% or less. The meltdown temperature is 145°C ~ 200°C. |
