Method for protection of under-bridge channels against washing away prescribes arrangement of fixation of under-bridge channel round the supports, within possible washing away, with gabions. Gabion construction arranged of metal frame to which metal mesh with double twist is attached is laid on base made of layers of fascine mattress and stone, and lengths of fixations above and below of the bridge supports make up two lengths of possible total washing away in direction of flow and one and a half lengths of total possible washing away in counter-flow direction.
