ANTI-ALIASING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An anti-aliasing method and a device thereof are provided to control the number and shape of sub scan lines, thereby improving the reliability of anti-aliasing while maintaining the calculation speed. CONSTITUTION: A control module(100) forms a plurality of sub scan lines within the pixel if anti-aliasing about an image drawing within a pixel through a user interface device(104). The control module detects intervals overlapped the sub scan lines and the image and calculates coverage value by dividing sum of the interval with the number of sub scan lines. The control module covers the pixel with a color of color value corresponding to the coverage value.
