PIEZOELECTRIC MATERIAL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a piezoelectric material is provided to enable low-temperature sintering by preparing (Na0.5K0.5)(Nb1-xVx)O3 by substituting V2O5 for NKN without the degradation of piezoelectric properties. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric material has a composition of (Na0.5K0.5)(Nb1-xVx)O3, wherein x is 0%<x<10%. The piezoelectric material is formed by substituting (Na0.5K0.5)NbO3 for V2O5. A method for manufacturing a piezoelectric material comprises: mixing raw material powder to prepare a mixture; calcining the mixture to prepare a first powder; wet-mixing and drying the first powder to prepare a second powder; and pressurizing and sintering the second powder at 700-900°C.
