METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WIRELESS AD-HOC NETWORK SETUP

PURPOSE: A wireless ad-hoc network setting method and a device thereof are provided to perform the Enrollee role in a terminal as same size as a WiFi head set thereby providing flexibility in the implementation of the WPS protocol. CONSTITUTION: Each of terminals exchanges search frame including WPS(Wi-Fi Protected Setup) function information to other terminals of wireless ad-hoc network(140). Based on an exchanged terminal identifier and the WPS function information, the each of terminals selects Registrar or Enrollee role(150). The each of terminals performing the Enrollee role receives the credential from a terminal selected as the registrar. The each of terminals performing the Enrollee role participates in network(160).
