<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding mill which can efficiently grind an object to be ground, and a waste polystyrene volume reducing machine. <P>SOLUTION: The grinding mill is configured such that grinding edges for grinding the object to be ground are parabolically or spirally arranged and fixed on the cylindrical outer circumferential surface formed at a position remote from the rotating shaft, to be oblique with respect to the rotating shaft, and are rotatingly driven.
