PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer which is stably operated and maintained for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The garbage disposer mixes a garbage-treating agent with a treatment-object material such as garbage to ferment the garbage. In the garbage disposer, two parallel screws, which have grinding and stirring blades for mixing and grinding the treatment-object material or the like and rotate reversely to each other, rotate reversely to each other to intermittently operate in the positive and negative rotational directions.
