PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floatation separation apparatus preferably keeping the performance of a discharge means for recovering scum over a long period, providing a stable separation function, greatly reducing the maintenance frequency, and reducing running cost. SOLUTION: The scum discharge means 126 disposed at an upper side of the floating separation apparatus 104 has a front shaft 134 and a rear shaft 136 connected with a timing belt 146 to each other and synchronously rotated with a motor 148. Eccentric cams are fixed to these shafts. Cam receiving bodies 138 are supported on the eccentric cams, and brackets 140 are fixed between the cam receiving bodies 138. A scraper 142 is fixed between the brackets 140, and performs parallel movement (circular movement) by synchronous rotation of the eccentric cams to push out the scum floated on the water level of a floatation separation tank 104a toward the discharge direction.
