PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which prevents a gap from being formed between the inner peripheral part of the front face of a cabinet and a display surface with a simple structure without being influenced by the variation in size or deformation of a cover body, suppresses entry of foreign substances, and has excellent appearance quality. SOLUTION: The display device includes a display section 1 in the shape of a horizontally long rectangular parallelepiped, and a cabinet 2 fitted to the peripheral part of the display section 1. The bezel 12 of the display section 1 has a front frame 12a covering the peripheral part of the surface of a display panel 11, and a side frame 12c covering the side face side of the display panel 11. A plurality of second projecting parts 12d projecting outside are arranged side by side at the parts corresponding to both long sides of the peripheral part of the side frame 12c. The cabinet 2 has a front frame covering section 21 covering the front frame 12a, and a side frame covering section 22 covering the side frame 12c. A protruding part 23 in contact with the second projecting part 12d is provided at a part of the rim of the side frame covering section 22 which faces the second projecting part 12d inside.
