PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop type cooker causing no thermal influence to a kitchen wall or an article even if it is installed by fitting it into a minimum space for housing a body outer casing such that it is not necessary to provide excessive space in a kitchen, or even if the article is placed on a top face or a side face of the body outer casing. SOLUTION: In the desktop type heating cooker including a cabinet forming the body outer casing, a heating chamber provided in an interior of the cabinet, a means for heating food placed in the heating chamber, an oven cooking means for retaining at least the cooking chamber at a high temperature by an electric heater, a machine chamber for disposing electric parts below the heating chamber, a fan device cooling the electric parts, and a top plate for placing an article on an upper part of the cabinet, a space provided between the cabinet and the top plate composes a cooling duct discharging an air flow, and an air guide duct communicating the cooling duct with the fan device is provided in a gap between the heating chamber and the cabinet.
