PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition that contains a high-concentration surfactant, is excellent in detergency and storage stability, and does not cause lowering of solubility due to gelling etc. when diluted with water. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition contains: (A) (a-1) a nonionic surfactant of alkoxyl type having a specific branch ratio and (a-2) a surfactant including an anionic surfactant; (B) a water-miscible organic solvent; and (C) water, wherein the (a-1) is 50 mass% or more in the (A), and a mass ratio of (a-1) to (a-2) is as follows: mass ratio [(a-1)/(a-2)]=50/50 to 99/1.
