PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fixing a meter hood capable of easily and certainly fixing a vehicular meter to be installed afterward on the upper surface of a dashboard, and improving appearance when installed. SOLUTION: The method includes: the meter hood equipped with a meter mounting hole open to the front surface, and an open part and a bottom end part on the bottom surface; and a mounting bracket formed of a horizontal part and an erected part. Inner sides on both sides of the meter hood, and the erected part of the mounting bracket are removably fixed. The horizontal part of the mounting bracket and the dashboard of the vehicle are fixed by an anchoring means such as a double-sided adhesive tape. The bottom end part of the meter hood is abutted on the dashboard so as to fix the meter hood. Thus, the meter hood can easily and certainly be fixed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
