摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center take-off type steering device wherein a housing is not broken, by the housing with comparatively small strength. SOLUTION: A spring constant of a left supporting bush 42L supporting the housing 40 is made to be large in regard to displacement to a right side rather than a left side of the housing. A spring constant of a right supporting bush 42R is made to be large in regard to displacement to the left side rather than the right side of the housing. Alternatively, to the displacement of the housing, the spring constant of the left supporting bush 42L rather than the right supporting bush 42R is made to be large. In a state wherein compressed stress remains in the housing, the housing is supported on a vehicle body. By these means, a ratio of load sharing of the supporting bush is changed to right and left sides, and the maximum stress at a specified part of the housing is made to be small.
