PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glossy printed result free from particle feeling. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer includes: a moving means for moving along a width direction of a medium on the medium; an ink head arranged in the moving means, and for injecting ink from an inkjet nozzle onto the medium, while moving along the width direction of the medium on the medium together with the moving of the moving means; a light irradiation means arranged movably along a direction orthogonal to the width direction of the medium in the moving means, and for emitting a light onto the medium, while moving along the width direction of the medium on the medium integrally with the inkjet head together with the moving of the moving means; and a control means for controlling an irradiation area on the medium irradiated with the light from the light irradiation means, and a printing area on the medium injected with the ink from the inkjet nozzle of the ink head, in a positional relation not to be overlapped each other, by moving the light irradiation means along the direction orthogonal to the width direction of the medium, to be arranged in a prescribed position of the moving means.
