PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid powder cosmetic product having excellent glossiness of a formed cosmetic surface, giving excellent application feeling such as application smoothness and moistness, finely and uniformly transferrable to an applicator, uniformly applicable to skin and having excellent impact resistance and shape retention in transportation, falling, etc. SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing the solid powder cosmetic product containing (A) 10-50 mass% of spherical powder having an average particle diameter of 1-20 μm, (B) an oil agent exhibiting liquid state at 25°C and (C) an oil agent exhibiting solid state at 25°C in a mass ratio of the component (B) to the component (C), (B):(C) of 6:4 to 9.5:0.5, wherein forming of the cosmetic product is performed by a compression forming method under application of vibration having a frequency of 10-40 kHz and an amplitude of 10-100 μm.
