PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change a setting related to recording of video data in accordance with a surrounding photographing condition of an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus (100) communicates with other imaging apparatuses (601-604) connected to the imaging apparatus via a network, and analyzes a photographing frequency of the other imaging apparatuses (601-604) by receiving information showing that the other imaging apparatuses (601-604) have performed photographing.
