摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an electric supercharger, which turns off the energization to an electric motor while maintaining a supercharging pressure of the electric supercharger and an output of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The device determines whether an internal combustion engine 1 is in a normal state, from an operation point consisting of rotary speed and an output of an internal combustion engine, and an operating state of a vehicle (S202), and also whether the operation point of the present internal combustion engine is in an energization necessary region, from the operation point of the internal combustion engine and a preset energization map of an electric supercharger (S203). When the internal combustion engine is not in the normal state or the operation point thereof is in the energization unnecessary region and if an exhaust gas output is sufficiently secured, the energization to the electric motor for driving the electric supercharger is turned OFF (S207). Thus, the energization to the electric supercharger is turned OFF while the supercharging pressure of the electric supercharger and the output of the internal combustion engine are maintained.
