PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a purified sugar solution from a raw sugar solution containing solid ingredients by removing the solid ingredients, wherein the method is improved to enable arbitrary volume reduction of the concentrated liquid recovered from a membrane filtration system and obtain ingredients free from a precoated waste material and usable as useful components from the concentrated liquid. SOLUTION: The raw sugar solution is supplied to a continuous or batch-wise membrane filtration system to separate the raw solution into the concentrated liquid and a permeated liquid, and the concentrated liquid is evaporated by an evaporator to partly or completely remove water and recover residues.
